If you have trouble reading the fine print, you might want a heart rate monitor described as having a "large display". My eyes have past their "best before" date, and trying to read little tiny numbers makes me crazy! It really helps to have numbers big enough to read. Just to be on the safe side, be sure to take a look at the photos of the displays to see if you think the numbers are large enough for you.
If you have any difficulty reading LCD displays in dim light, you might also need a heart rate monitor with a backlit display. A backlight can really help make it easier to read!
